02/25/2016 Roger Kumpf Pictorial Masters

I had visited this spot years earlier on a camera club field trip and made a point to return.

I wanted to accent the solitary tree and decided to do it with light painting against a dark sky. The moon was nearly full, providing some color in the night sky and lighting the background over the course of a long exposure.
